the winner of secretariat
A little girl was born in 2003 her name was Susie. Susie grew up on a farm with plenty of pigs horses and chickens goats sheep cows. she especially loved horses her favorite horse was named lightning. lightning was secretariat's son. lighting was 5 years old when Susie was only 15 she was qualified for the crown cup the one secretariat Lightnings father had won and nobody had been able to beat him since then. but amazingly Susie and lighting beat secretariat's record by 40 seconds.

Marie & Mary
Their lived two little girls in the tribe called shabawacy tribe. The littlest of the girls is Marie and she starts our story for many adventures to come all form one little girl.
1 the fire
Marie and her best friend Mary were in their homes helping their moms when one of the men in the tribe called out SMOKE!!! FIRE!!! little Marie was very frighted her mother had told her how fires destroy everything and kill people. So little Marie ran away out the house and over the mountains she ran as fast as her little legs could go. Away from the fire but also away from her tribe and away from her family and her best friend.
"poor Mary she must miss me"
poor Marie missed her friend and family very much but all she could do was hope they could find her. After running for a long time Marie noticed a small figure coming her way. Who was it? It began to get closer and Marie got a glimpse of long black hair then a dress then.......it was Mary coming after her foot steps.
"Mary, Mary I am here"
Marie waved her hands.
Mary ran towards Marie
the two girls hugged but Marie saw that Mary was crying
"the camps burned down and my father has got burned badly and five men of the men have been killed"
Mary sobbed.
"oh no that's terrible "what made you come after me?
"well you are my best friend and all but i just felt i should come"
"thanks a Million Mary"
"your welcome"
"Mary what do you think we'll do out here? Do you think the tribe will find us?"
"i don't Know but there is a cave around here"
"let's stay in there for the night then"
"ok its this way"
The two girls went to the cave and spent the night their.
The next day Marie was the first to wake up.
"Mary Mary their are some Men coming up this way and their not our tribe"
Mary began to wake up
"what is it"
she said yawning as she spoke
"Mary its a rival tribe what do we do?
"what rival tribe" said Mary starting to wake up faster.
"its the Shoshone tribe"
"oh no" said Mary sitting up in bed
"theirs this girl in that tribe called Sacagawea in that tribe and she is so mean"
said Marie.
"I know isn't she so mean"
"Ok we got to do something abut the rival tribe or we will be ruined"
2 the rival tribe.
The man with torches came closer and closer
"quick hide behind that tree whispered" Marie the girls ran behind the tree just in time. for the Rival tribe had just come to the cave
"phew that was close" said Mary
"were are those girls we saw here we must find them Men look near and far"
said the biggest one of the man
" i think he is the chief" said Marie silvering with fright
"ya i think so too" said Mary
"what are we going to do Mary there going to find us here"
said Marie
"well lets make a run for it"
"OK i guess that's are only choice"
so the girls made a run for it they ran as fast as the wind but one of the man from the rival tribe spotted them.
"there they are run we have to catch them"
the hole rival tribe chased them. but Mary tripped on a root of a tree and the rival tribe caught up.
"aha we got you now"
"oh no no no:(" Mary said under her berth
"Wait" said one of the man "we must ask them what tribe their in first"
"Um.....were..in...t.t.t.t.t.th.h.h.h.h.e.e.e.e
crany tribe" said Marie shivering as she spoke
"Men leave these children alone their part of a tribe we made peace with"
so the rival tribe left them and went away
"phew that was super super close nice one Marie"

"ya but i thought i herd mom talking abut something like that and i could not think of anything better so that's what i said"
"cool now let's settle in the cave for the night" after the girls awoke they saw a beam of light shining through a crack in the cave

Marianne
On the highest mountain in Venice Italy their lived a small little girl named Marianne. Marianne had beautiful blond curly hair she usually wore a purple and yellow dress with one big green bow on it. Marianne lived with her aunt Isabella who was a very cruel woman and never let Marianne go to the sea side or any where in Nature. This was very Unfortunate for Marianne for she was a little girl who adored Nature. she begged Isabella to get a dog or hamster or bunny for her 11 birthday but Isabella just said NO!
chapter 1
"oh aunt Isabella please get me a hamster or a dog or a bunny for my 11 birthday "
" NO! Marianne you can not have any pets in my house "
poor Marianne went to cry in her bed room in the attic. but she heard a tiny squeak
Marianne looked back their in the darkness of her room she saw a little gray mouse with big black eyes that looked like they were full of love.
"oh thank goodness what a cute little mouse. come here boy"
the little mouse slowly went in to Marianne's lap.
"you poor little creature you have cut feet and they have scabs on them"
"you may sleep with me in my bed if you would like squeak! ok i understand you want your own bed you can sleep in this basket with some blankets in it if you would like now its getting late so lets go to bed"
Marianne gave the little mouse a bed for the night in a basket with one of her own blankets then she went to bed dreaming of a very happy life in America.
the moon came up and the crickets sang.
and when she oped her eyes the sun was shining thru the window and the birds were singing beautiful songs.
she sat up in bed and checked the basket where the mouse had slept that night. he was sound asleep in the basket.
"Little guy we got to do something about horrible Isabella or she will find you and kill you. how horrible that would be'
Marianne began to sob
"And i would be all alone again she sobbed"
the little mouse began to wake. he looked at her with his big black eyes full with love
"oh my i got an idea. here little guy i'll draw it for you"
"OK so hears the attic and hers the ladder to get to the kitchen the later leads to the balcony inside the house right above the kitchen we will dump a bucket of permanent black paint on her from the balcony"
SQUEAK!! SQUEAK!!
said the little mouse "OK lets go now"
Marianne and her little pal the mouse were heading to the balcony in the house right above the kitchen with a bucket of black permanent paint.
"their she is she is making breakfast"
sure enough their was aunt Isabella with her plump rosy cheeks and her violet dress coking scrambled eggs.
"ready set dump" !!!!!!!!!!!
and one full bucket of black permanent paint fell on Isabella and the eggs she was coking.
"WHAT IN THE WORLD I AM RUINED. "MARIANNE!!!! COME NOW!!!! YOU FOOLISH!!! GIRL HOW DEAR YOU DO THIS TO ME YOU ARE SUCH A BAD BAD LITTLE GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE YOU!!! WHY DID I EVER LET YOU LIVE WITH ME I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN YOU WOULD DO THIS TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Marianne bit her lip and said "Oh aunt Isabella please forgive me I........"oh my what is that thing your holding "UM.....I.....T's ...it's....a mouse"
"OH my heavens thru that dirty thing out of my house and NO i will not forgive you Marianne"
poor Marianne walked out side and began to cry
"oh little mouse what have we got ourselves in to"
Marianne sobbed.
" i can not possibly thru you out here what will we do? Then a bicycle rolled by it had a Mysterious person in it who could it be?
"what is your name" the mysterious person asked
"Marianne mam " said Marianne
" do you still want to live with aunt Isabella"
"mercy me No" said Marianne
"then come with Me"
"but are you good or bad?"
"well that's a silly question"
"Im good of course people call me the child saver because i save so many children"
"well i guess i will come then i just have to say good bye forever to aunt Isabella":)

"good bye Isabella" Marianne yelled "Forever" she yelled again
"what Marianne come hear now or ill spank you!!"
But Marianne was already off with the nice child saver
"Mam may i know your name?"
"of course my name is Isabella" "No im just kidding"

"Jane cooler"

Marianne jumped off the bicycle
"its beautiful its all i dreamed of a farm"
"Thanks i figured you love animals because of your little mouse in your arms"
"oh yes i almost forgot about him"
"Know i will show you around the farm"
So Jane showed Marianne the farm and these were the animals she showed her bunny's horses cows pigs chickens dogs sheep goats.
"Awwwww he's soo cute" said Marianne petting the baby goat
"yes he is a most resent baby goat"
"oh that's why he is so cute do you own this farm?"
"no but my father and mother do "
"cool i am sure i will like them"
"you will they are really nice"
"oh im glad i have never been treated kind "
"i Know with that horrible Isabella know kid could be treated kind"
"now Marianne i will show you your room and introduce you to my parents and then i have to go save more children"
"thank you so much for saving me i was in such a bad place"
Marianne said petting the little mouses head
Jane lead Marianne to the house and introduced her to her parents and showed her her new room
and then left Marianne stayed on her new bed witch had pink covers and yellow pillows.
"my my what a Miracle in just a couple of hours" Muttered Marianne under her breath.
The next day. Marianne heard a loud WOOF! WOOF!
She sat up in bed. "Whats that?" she cried. she slipped on her slippers and tiptoed out of her room.

book 2 springs coming
Zoe and her family were deciding to go on a trip to Scotland now that rick was 4. "zoe ma said start to pack your suitcase were going to Scotland in a week. "ok ma. So zoe and her brothers jack and jacob and her sister Amy were packing their suitcases. Amy was 7 years old she had blond hair and she usually wore pigtails. Jacob was 16 years old and he had light brown hair. Jack was 4 years old he had light blond hair. Zoe was 12 years old she has dark brown hair she usually wore braids. after the kids were done packing they went down stairs to eat breakfast. "ma whats fore breakfast bagels sweetie. "oh and amy can you go check fore a egg from the chickens and could you give them food and water "ok ma so Amy went to check for a egg. "oh look amy said rose just laid a egg the 7 egg and their all relay warm.

book 1 springs coming
It was a cool spring morning and Zoe was putting on a t-shirt and jeans. Then mom called from downstairs, "Zoe, it's summer vacation so there's no school."
"OK Ma."
Zoe ran downstairs. "Ma what's for breakfast?" She asked.
"Bacon and eggs sweetie, but before you eat, go and wake up your brother and sister."
"OK Ma."
So Zoe ran up the stair to wake up her brother and sister, Jacob and Amy was 5 and Jacob was 14 Zoe was 10.
"Amy, Amy, wake up, it's time to eat", Zoe said pulling off her sisters covers.
"OK, I'm awake, I'm awake."
"Good. Now I have to go and wake up Jacob."
So Zoe left and went into Jacob's room and shook him and took his covers off.
"Wake up Jacob. Usually you're the one waking me up."
"Oh, I'm awake", Jacob sighed.
"OK good", and with that Zoe left the room.
She went down the stairs again to eat her bacon and eggs.
"There you are. Where are Jacob and Amy."
"Oh they're coming. Oh mom where's dad."
"Oh he's working on the chicken coop." mom replied.
"Oh thanks."
"Now eat your eggs and bacon before they get cold."
"OK ma."
Zoe ate her breakfast and after that she asked her mom if she could see how dad was doing on the chicken coop.
"OK sweetie, but don't be too long. Remember you still need to do your chores."
"Sure ma."
Zoe went to the chicken coop.
"Hi pa, how are you. Are you thirsty?"
"Yes angel, would you please get me some water."
"Sure Pa."
Zoe went back in the house and filled a glass with ice cold water and ran outside to give it to pa.
"Here you go Pa", she handed him the glass.
"Thank you angel, I was nearly parched to death out here."
"You're welcome."
It was a cool site to see her pa drink all that water in one gulp.
"I have to go do my chores now pa."
"OK angel, see you around."
Zoe's chores were to wash the dishes, clean her room, make bread and milk the cows.
She worked hard and quickly finished her chores in one hour.
She hurried until she got to countyville park where she met Jane.
"Hey Zoe, want to play hide and go seek", asked Jane.
"Sure", said Zoe.
Jane had an awesome look-alike cousin named Jessica.
The girls played almost all day and around 5:40 Zoe told Jane, "I got to go home."
"Yeah me too", said Jane.
So Jane and Zoe both headed for home.
When Zoe got home, she was just in time for dinner.
"Hey sweetie, where have you been?", asked mom.
"Oh playing with Jane and Jessica", said Zoe.
The family shared a wonderful meal and after that ma and pa put the kids to bed because it was getting late.
The next day was the day to get the baby chicks.
Zoe couldn't wait, she woke up super early and ran in her parents' room.
"Hey ma, hey pa, wake up, we got to go get the chicks now!"
Pa sat up in bed.
"Sweetheart it's much to early to get the chicks. We have a lot of things to do this morning before we go get the chicks, like eat and chores."
"but we have to go now!"
Finally she agreed not to go right then, but after the family had done everything they needed to do they went.
Zoe was the first in the car, then it was Amy, Jacob, mom and then dad
They drove for a good 4 hours until they reached the chicken shop. Zoe was first out of the car and her little sister Amy followed.
"Wait up Zoe and Amy", called ma.
But it was too late Zoe and Amy were already in the chicken shop. Mom, dad and her older brother Jacob followed them into the shop.
"Ooh ooh ooh, I want that one", Zoe pointed to a yellow chick.
"Ooh I want that one", said Amy pointing to a little black and white chick.
"Hold on girls", said mom, "I need to get someone who can get the chicks for us."
So ma went to find a person to get the chicks. The person picked all the chicks the girls wanted.
"That one. That one too", the girls said.
"Oh girls, girls let Jacob pick one", Ma said.
"OK, he can pick the last one", said Zoe.
Jacob picked a black one. "He looks evil", said Jacob
"Hey don't be mean", said Zoe.
to Jacob.
"Ok fine Zoe"
"thanks. now ma Zoe said i can't wait to go home and put the chicks in their new home"
so Zoe and her sister and brother and ma and pa went home. when they got home they put wood shavings in a tub for the chicks then put a water and feeder in their tub.
after that they ate dinner at the famous restraint called PEP'S PEAS.
