CHAPTER ONE (THE NEW KID HA)

Dear First grade journal, GUESS WHAT
PEOPLE! I even made up a song about this particular event: "A new kid is coming to Room
one, a NEW kid a NEW kid, and HA I'm gonna be her bestest fryend friend" And its a buet of a
song I tell you. Me and My best friend Herb, are going to be her bestest friends see if we don't. She Is supposed to come to school Tomorrow!
Tomorrow I tell you.
P.S. Today Mr. Scary said we are going to have an A 'noncment from the principal. I am not Quite joyis
joyous about this happening.
I put down my pencil and began humming silently to myself, Cause guess what humming silently is not even against the rules. hardly. Only what do you know? May heard me and opened her big mouth to tattle when suddenly she stopped and began counting to twenty. Counting to twenty is what she has to do when she starts thinking about tattling. She leaned close and whispered to me "Don't you ruin this day for me Junie B." I am not quite found of May she is not my favorite kind of specimen.
Only what do you know A few moments later I coulden't help whispering to May
"I'm going to be The new girls bestest friend! Me and Herb are going to be the new kids bestest friends. And guess what dumb May Guess what? Your not going to be Hah!"
This time May could not help herself. Not that she usually does. She slammed down her journal and boom exploded out of her chair and zoomed to the front of the room
"Mr. Scary Mr. Scary Junie B. Called me dumb and Keeps whispering to me that she is going to be best Friends with the new kid and I'm...-" Mr. Scary Who was at his desk looking at papers, Interrupted May "May, We've already discussed this to many times, this is getting old" May finished her sentence and added some more to it "-not going to! and Mr. Scary She should not be talking during writing time! Mr. Scary I'm tired of having to tattle, Looky here Mr. Scary If you think I enjoy tattling you are.. mostly mistaken! Somebody has to keep control of Junie!" "B May B! JUST WHEN I THOUGHT YOU WHERE GETTING IT YOU HAVE TO MESS UP" I hollered real loud. Then I put my hand over my mouth speedy quick. Because that was a mistake I tell you. Mr. Scary Took a deep breath and an aspirin and led May out of the room. Phew I thought cause that was a Close one I tell you. Only to bad for me cause just then Mr. Scary and May Came back into the room and While May got to go back to her seat Mr. Scary led me out of the room. And that is just plain not fair I tell you. Mr. Scary Told me to please stop bugging May and to stop talking about me being best friends with the new kid with and May not being friends with her. I could not believe it "Yeah only that's the dumbest thing I ever heard. On account that I can not even help myself hardly from telling May about Me and the New kid being besties." Mr. Scary took One deep big breath and then led me back into room one. I ran back to my seat speedy quick and sat down before Mr. Scary even had a chance to sit in his seat."Ha I cried I won I won!" Mr. Scary sat down and took an aspirin. Just then Principal walked in. And All of room one cried out "HELLO PRINCIPAL HELLO!" Room one is great at crying out He looked at us kinda funny and then began his 'nouncment
"Boys, And girls all of room one is Invited to go to a Field trip to the Aquarium, Make sure to bring snacks are there any questions? it will be on this Friday" And that apparently was the end of his 'nouncment. Only guess what I don't exactly favor Aquariums on account that Paulie Allen Puffer once said that Aquariums have shark that with rip you into shreds. And that boy is a genius I tell you. Also he said that there are sting rays that will sting you into smoke. And I am not looking forward to those experiences I believe. I raised my hand real slow He called on me "Well I actually would not exactly like to go so there" He frowned at me and replied "Junie B. This is not a yes or no innovation, everyone in room one must come unless they are sick or have some other important reasons not to attend. you can't just simply now want to go. It will be fun." I rolled my eyes at that funny Man cause sometimes adults don't make any sense I tell you. "Any other questions?" he asked after a long awkward pause. May raised her hand and hollared real loud "Principal! Principal! I waited! yes I did I waited till you asked again to raise my hand, I am such a good pupil" I studied May for a good long second cause that girl was a wonder I tell you. "Okay May, that's very nice of you, now what is your question." May Hollared out even louder this time "I'm HAVING A BIRTHDAY PARTY ROOM ONE A BIRTHDAY PARTY!!! IT IS ON SATURDAY AND EVERYONE HAS TO COME!!!!" Principal frowned No body cheered on account that no one was very fond of May. She is just plain cuckoo I tell you. And that is not even name calling. that is the truth. She began to hand out plain old white envelopes to everyone and she even handed one to me not that I was going to go to her stupid dumb old party. On account that me and May are not the best of friends. When she handed me a invatation She leaned real close and whispered in my ear "I am only giving you this Invatation Junie B. Because I am fair. And I am so fair and nice." She spit a tinsy bit In my ear when she said that. I made a gross face at her on account that spit in your is unacceptable I tell you.
Chapter Two ( It's NOT fair)
It's not fair mother found the invitation in my backpack. And that is called spying I tell you. And I am not even allowed to spy on account that last time I did I scared Grandma Miller To the core. Its not fair. I hid that thing in there real good. And now Mother is making me go. First the aquarium and now dumb Mays birthday this has not been My best day before the weekend I tell you. Only just then I remembered something. The New kid is coming tommorow and me and her will be besties. I did a sigh real happy and that pleasant thought.
Its morning its morning! I jumped on my mother and daddy bed real happy "Wake up SleepyRoundies WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" Mother put a pillow over her face and groaned "Junie B. School is not for another hour. Go back to bed Now" "Yeah only guess what mother guess what?? that's the dumbest thing I ever heard on account that my head is awake and I am not to experienced on putting that thing back to sleep" I hollered real loud. Mother did a sigh. And I hopped out of that room real jumpy. Cause guess what people guess what?? The New girl will be at school today the new girl the new girl! Me and her will be best friends I tell you. I Sat down on my bed and played with my raggedy Ann doll and Raggedy Larry doll. Then I picked up Phillip Johnny bob and me and him had a real long conversation. His voice sounded just like mine I tell you what a coincidence.
"Hey Junie B. I can't wait for us to go to school and be best friends with the new kid! Lets go now" he said real happy
"Yeah only Mother and daddy won't wake up on account that school does not start for another hour. And you already now that toys are not allowed at school. On account that last time I brought Raggedy Ann, last year Crybaby William chewed her good hand off with his teeth. AND MRS Got MAD at me not William. She said that their are no toys allowed at school." I said real glum.
"Yeah Only I'm not a toy! I'm Phillip Johnny Bob! How come I'm not allowed how come?"
I looked at him for a good long while "Well I tried telling mother and daddy that, but they said no. Grown ups just don't make sense sometimes." I said real slow
We both nodded at that one cause those last words where genius I tell you!
Hurry for breakfast hurry! cause guess what people guess what? after Breakfast comes school! And SCHOOL mean New girl. New girl and me besties.
I waited for the bus with mother real patient, real patient means jumping up and down and Hollering
"HULLO BUS CAN YOU HEAR ME?? cause your taking a real long while mister. Hello!! its me Junie B. Bus!"
Mother held me down and told me to please stop screaming. "Yeah only I was not screaming I was hollering and there is a real difference their madam."
Mother did a sigh a real long one this time. I do not understand that woman. Hurry FOR SCHOOL BUS'S cause guess what huh guess what people? THE SCHOOL BUS BRINGS YOU TO SCHOOL and at SCHOOL there is the NEW KID!! I waved goodbye to mother real sweet but she locked her eyes with mine I tell you and said "Junie B. Be a good girl today a school Don't do anything out of the ordinary okay? and be good at the aquarium!" "Okay Mother gotcha. A ok Only I don't think I'll be going to the aquarium today on account that I do not favor sharks." I hollered at her real loud. Mother did a sigh. "Yeah only that was not even out of the ordinary since I holler a real good lot" Mother groaned and walked back towards the house.
I could not sit still on the school bus my legs where all squirmy and I tell you those things would not stop moving, and its not my fault at all people. So its not fair that Mr. Woo my buss driver yelled at me to sit down. Some things are just not fair these days on account that Mother and Mr. Woo have been a bit of what I call being mean to me Junie B. FOR No reason at all. At that is just plain unfair I tell you.
Chapter Three (The new Kid)
The bus stopped and guess what people guess where we are?? huh guess where we are? A STUPID DUMB GAS STATION!!! This is against the rules I tell you!! Mr. Woo apologized and said this was a rare emergency scenario. JUST ON THE DAY I ACUTALLY WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL we have to fill up gas. That is just plain not fair I tell you. I tried Hollering real to Mr. Woo " Mr. Woo Mr. Woo yeah only that's the dumbest thing I ever heard! On account that I need to go to school now because me and The new kid are going to be besties that's why! WE CAN'T WE CAN'T MISTER WE Just can't stop in this stupid smell gas station pull this bus right out of here and lets go to School." Mr. Woo looked at me kinda funny and then got off the bus. Phooey. So much for that effort. Only just then a tinsy idea popped into this genius brain of mine. I smiled real happy and then Hollered real loud "Everybody on this bus start hollering MOVE THE BUS MOVE THE BUS on the count of three" I waited nobody said anything so I counted "1, 2, 3," Then I Hollered real loud "MOVE THE BUS!!!" but nobody joined in with me so I Hollered even louder "COME ON CHILDREN HOLLER I TELL YOU NOW!" Herbert my best friend poked me on the shoulder and said "Junie B. -" But then I cut him off because I had another genius idea "Herb how bout you Holler real loud huh how bout it?" I told him real nice. He looked grumpy at me "Junie B. Listen nobody want's to holler with you cause gas station stops are quick and speedy that's why." I looked at that boy real funny cause he was another one of the wonders in my life I tell you. Just like mother, and Mr. Scary. And May. Oh and baby Ollie too. Only Ollie does not talk so much and when he does he only says Moo. He is not much fun. I love him very much I just wish he did not actually live with me In the same house I mean. I replied to Herb real slow "Really Huh? No kidding?" He nodded He still looked grumpish. So I sat down in my seat and waited. ONLY WHAT DO YOU KNOW??? Mr. Woo came on the bus lickdy splits Lickdy Splits is a grownup word for speedy quick. And we drove off! we are on our way to school hooray hooray! Hooray for Lickdy splits!
Where here we are here! We are here at the SCHOOL and guess what?? I think I see the new girl! I think I do only guess what I see. I see Lucille taking to her. I Run out of that bus speedy quick, and ran to were those two stood. "Lucille what do you think your doing talking to the new girl huh what do you think your doing do you not remember? Me and her are going to be besties not you and her! You already have Camille and Chenille." Lucille fluffed her dress real sweetly at patted her shiny hair and then spoke all sweet and sunny " Oh did I not tell you Junie B.? My Cousin is the New kid who is moving in! I was just telling her about you! Her name is Judy B. Jackson. Is is that not just the funniest thing you ever heard huh? is it not? cause Judy B. And Junie B. sound almost alike and her middle name is Beatrice just like you But she goes but B. Just like you!" I looked at Lucille a good long second then I moved my gaze to The new kid, and wow wow wowie she was practically the identical version of me expect her hair was blondish and her eyes bluish. She even wore purple glasses just like me! We looked at each other for a second and started laughing. This friendship is off to a good start I tell you. "We look practically identical on account are faces are the same exact color!" she nodded at that And laughed "We do we do!" Then I asked her if she wanted to be besties and she said she would think about it so but she thought she was not quite ready to have a bestie yet. Now I had a Bestie The new girl was my Bestest friend practically. All three of us all walked to room one real happy, Only she had to go up and talk to Mr. Scary and then Mr. Scary assigned her a seat and introduced her to the class her seat was miles away from mine. It's not fair I tell you Mr. Scary Is not fair. Mr. Scary Made an announcement he said the Aquarium was today only that was not even a new announcement. I heard that particular one yesterday and I am not fond of it. He said that we would be going to there right before recess I cried out at that one cause that one was not fair I tell you "Yeah only thats the dumbest thing I ever heard you can't skip recess on account that recess is my favorite time of the day in school. Mr. Scary laughed only this was not a laughing moment I tell you so I don't know why he did. "Junie B. A field trip is like a longer recess. only with sharks and other amazing water creatures although most of them are fish." I did like the sound of that expect for the word sharks. On account that fish are not scary, only boring. But sharks however are Scary.
Chapter four (The SCARY aquarium)
So far I hav not favored the aquarium there are To many fish I I do not bother to listen to Mr. Scary explaining the different types cause who wants to know the different types! Fish are Fish and Fish are boring. Sharks however are not. they are very scary. I do not know which on of these two things I would prefer more. I Imagined The war Between boring and Evil. Evil won every time cause how can Boring win? Huh how can it? Then I Imagined the war between Baby Bunny's GOOD and SHARKS BAD I wish I had not imagined that happing unless.... Sharks were specks and The bunny had fins and big chopering teeth...."Junie B. are you listing to what I am saying? Junie B. we where just learning about the different types of sharks they have in this aquarium. where about to head over to that exhibit now okay?" I did not do an okay back. "Junie B. Do you want me to tell you mother about this?-" "Oh no you can't you can't on account that she says if I get one more letter for my teacher she will send me to the police and I am not looking forward to that particular happing! Oh Mr. Scary don't tell please!!! on account if you did you would be breaking the rules!" I hollered real loud. Mr. Scary chuckled and then looked grumpish at me "Junie B. I need you to listen okay?" I nodded real quick. He said good and then we went of to see the scary sharks.
Only when we got there I still was not paying attention so to bad for me Mr. Scary caught me yawing and taping and he came over to me very cross. "Hello How are you today? Very good thank you" I said real pleasant Mr. Scary did not Smile or Chuckle this time he told me that this was the last straw little girl and then I listened oh I did real good to what he said only it made me shiver and go trembley cause sharks are just plain out scary I tell you. Finally a shark came out to meet room one and it was tiny I looked it real funny but since me and Mr. Scary and I are not on the best of terms. I did not ask him why. I sorta liked this little shark I was not even scared of it hardly. Judy B. Jackson Raised her hand and Mr. Scary called on her "Mr. Scary I have a question, why is the shark so small?" I looked at that girl cause me and her have the same sort of brains too apparently. "Because Judy B. There are all different sizes of sharks that little shark there is actually a Dwarf Lantern shark there the smallest species of shark" Mr. Scary said real happy about his knowledge.
Turns out I don't mind the aquarium the fish are boring but some of the sharks are cute and tinsy and not scary hardly. Only just then I remembered "OH NO OH NO the sting rays that sting you into smoke oh no oh no !!" I cried out real scared Mr. Scary laughed at that one. "Actually the sting rays here can't sting but there exhibit is unfortunately closed today so we won't be going to see the sting rays this time." Phew I exhaled real happy cause that was a Close one I tell you.
Chapter 5 The party Preparing (boo hoo)
The aquarium was a hoot I tell you only when I got home mother said that we had to go birthday present shopping. I looked at her kinda happy
"Is it my birthday? huh mother is it cause I would love a birthday present or two!"
She groaned
"No Junie B. It's May's birthday remember? we are going tomorrow.
I groaned on account that just then I did remember. "Oh mother don't I don't want to go please please!" I said real sweetly
"You said that about the aquarium too, and you ended up having a blast. You will have a great time I promise!"
"Really? mother really cause I don't believe that will ever happen." Mother groaned But we still ended up going to the store to get her a present.
"How about this one?" Mother showed me a stuffed panda bear. "Or this one?" she showed me a brand new set of pencils. "How about neither?" I offered real polite. She did another Groan. She is very groanish today. "Junie B. just pick something." mother cried to me "I already told you what I want to get May" I said real very quarralish
"There is no way I am going to let you give one of your class mates a disinfectant spray."
"Why not mother its perfect! May needs to be disinfected!" Mother groaned Finally mother bought the pencils and we left the store she was real grouchy at me. "Junie B. Next time your dad, is going to go present shopping with you okay honey?" only she did not say it in a nice way she said It in a sarcastic way. A Mean way.
When we got home I ran up the stairs speedy quick to my room and told Phillip Johnny bob the news. he gasped when I told him the whole story we talked and talked but soon it got boring so I decided to pretend I was a birthday girl but soon that got boring too. This was going to be a boringish end of the day.
At dinner Mommy and Daddy talked about the party, and they asked me loads of questions about the aquarium. But those topics where boring I tell you. And interest was not on my Side that evening not at all.
Chapter 6 Awkward
I did not wake up early on Saturday like on Friday. Infact I slept in quite a bit. ON PURPOSE only its not fair that daddy woke me up and told me to get ready for the party! which apparently was at 1 o clock. Humph no excitement came to me that morning that whole morning was not a very excitement filled morning. I weared my boring old clothes cause why should I dress up. It felt way too speedy quick on account that before I hardly knew it daddy was driving me to May's house which I am almost positive looks like a dump.
It felt like only a few seconds but before I hardly knew it probably we where at May's house. and what do you know it was a regular sort of house. May's mother greeted me and I said goodbye to daddy who drove off I sat there very glum with the present in my hand. I handed to May's mother "This is for your pesky little girl" I whispered into her ear hole. She looked at me kinda grouchy so I moved on and started looking for familiar faces. Familiar faces means friends. AND guess what I saw Judy B.! so I ran over to her speedy quick and said hello. she said hello back. she was not the most talkative type. "Well how are you today are you exited for dumb May's party?" She looked at me oddly "I hardly no May but I came cause all of room one came" I nodded that made sorta sense hardly. We sat in 'kward silence for a good long while and then finally the party began.
Chapter 7 Dumb games.
May was dressed up in a fluffy dress similar to Lucille's only fake when Lucilles was real. May announced that she was the boss and that all of room one listen to her. "Hello room one! you guys better listen to me or else!" Room one cried back "OR WHAT MAY" She looked uncomfortable and squirmed a bit that means she did not no or what. May's mother saved her and told us that we would start the party with games. On account that We played all sort of games and Judy B. Jackson Won almost all of them. Boy that girl could play. wowie wow wow. I only won once. Then we did some crafts I drew some borings stuff. Judy B. however drew perfect drawings she was a pro I tell you. What could that girl not do. Turns out I found out. When Mrs. May (May's Mother) announced that they would be going into the other room to open presents. She could not bring a present. She whispered that secret to me real secret. I did not have a big fat clue of what to say but I had an Idea or two up my arm. "Why don't you go get some leaves and hand them to her?" Judy B. shook her head. "Why Don't you go get some grass and dirt and hand it to her?" Judy B. shook her head harder this time. "No Junie B. That would be mean!" "Serves May right!" "Maybe but May was not mean to me so I can't give her dirt but you can!" Judy B. said real pleased. I nodded. "I'll give you my gift to give to May And then I'll give her dirt!" I Smiled real happy cause I was a genius I tell you. Only there was a tinsy problem. "That's great where is your present to May, Junie B?" Judy B. Asked. I sighed real sad "I gave it to Mrs. May. "You mean May's Mom?" Judy B. asked again. I nodded. "I saw where she put the present pile lets go sneak over there and get it!" Judy B. said real pleased. I clapped my hands real quiet. we sneaked out of there without anyone seeing us! I saw the present Pile in the other room and I tiptoed over there and wow wow wowie THERE WAS MY PRESENT! so I picked it up speedy quick and then gave it to Judy B. She crossed out the words FROM JUNIE B. and put from JUDY B. she also crossed out all the dumb stupid and Telltale words too. I don't know why she did that particular thing. then we ran out side licked splits and I grabbed some dirt. Then we sneaked back into that room speedy quick and know one even knew we where gone.
Chapter Eight 8 (Presents)
All of room one was led into the other room. where the presents where and one by one may opened her presents. Jose made her a paper airplane. Herbert gave her a yoyo. Lennie gave her a pack of gel. And so on. Finally she was done opening presents. And her eyes where mad. she looked at everyone and then at Me and Judy B. She made her eyes into slits at us. "I"M MISSING TWO PRESENTS!" She hissed at us. Judy B. quickly walked up and gave May My old present. May did not say thank you she did not say thank you about any of the other presents either. And her parents did not even tell her too. Mine would go cuckoo if I did not say thank you. Finally it was my turn so I gave her my handful of dirt her face went all surprised then all grouchy and then she said all sarcastic. "Thank you Junie B. I really appreciate it" "Your Welcome" I said cause what do you know? I was the only one she said thank you to. Who knew May loved Dirt so much. And as Mother always says You learn something new every day.
Chapter 9 (Cake and BESTIES)
After presents we all ate cake. May kept giving me mean glances on the table. and only to bad for me cause I did not get any Cake on account that I was mean to Mrs. May's child. Humph its not fair on account that it was red velvet cake and that stuff is heavenly I tell you! It is also My favorite Kind of Cake and Cake is my Favorite kind of food.
After Cake we played one more game of hopscotch and then it was time to rap up. Mother had said I would have a great time and she had said she promised but I had an worstest time ever I tell you. Only Just then Judy B. Jackson. Ran up to me and tapped me on the shoulder and said "Hey Junie B. Remember when you asked me if I wanted to be besties huh remember?" I nodded "Well guess what? I think I am ready to have a bestie. and I think I want to you to be my best friend!" I smiled real happy "Of course you do!" We both smiled and linked arms. Then I quick asked her what her favorite color was and she replied "Purple" and Wowie wow wow cause purple was my favorite color too.
See I told Me and the New kid would be bestest friends I told you! Turns out mother was right again.

So much for that effort. Only just then a tinsy idea popped into this genius brain of mine. I smiled real happy and then Hollered real loud "Everybody on this bus start hollering MOVE THE BUS MOVE THE BUS on the count of three" I waited nobody said anything so I counted "1, 2, 3," Then I Hollered real loud "MOVE THE BUS!!!" but nobody joined in with me so I Hollered even louder "COME ON CHILDREN HOLLER I TELL YOU NOW!" Herbert my best friend poked me on the shoulder and said "Junie B. -" But then I cut him off because I had another genius idea "Herb how bout you Holler real loud huh how bout it?" I told him real nice. He looked grumpy at me "Junie B. Listen nobody want's to holler with you cause gas station stops are quick and speedy that's why." I looked at that boy real funny cause he was another one of the wonders in my life I tell you. Just like mother, and Mr. Scary. And May. Oh and baby Ollie too. Only Ollie does not talk so much and when he does he only says Moo. He is not much fun. I love him very much I just wish he did not actually live with me In the same house I mean. I replied to Herb real slow "Really Huh? No kidding?" He nodded He still looked grumpish. So I sat down in my seat and waited. ONLY WHAT DO YOU KNOW??? Mr. Woo came on the bus lickdy splits Lickdy Splits is a grownup word for speedy quick. And we drove off! we are on our way to school hooray hooray! Hooray for Lickdy splits!
Where here we are here! We are here at the SCHOOL and guess what?? I think I see the new girl! I think I do only guess what I see. I see Lucille taking to her. I Run out of that bus speedy quick, and ran to were those two stood. "Lucille what do you think your doing talking to the new girl huh what do you think your doing do you not remember? Me and her are going to be besties not you and her! You already have Camille and Chenille." Lucille fluffed her dress real sweetly at patted her shiny hair and then spoke all sweet and sunny " Oh did I not tell you Junie B.? My Cousin is the New kid who is moving in! I was just telling her about you! Her name is Judy B. Jackson. Is is that not just the funniest thing you ever heard huh? is it not? cause Judy B. And Junie B. sound almost alike and her middle name is Beatrice just like you But she goes but B. Just like you!" I looked at Lucille a good long second then I moved my gaze to The new kid, and wow wow wowie she was practically the identical version of me expect her hair was blondish and her eyes bluish. She even wore purple glasses just like me! We looked at each other for a second and started laughing. This friendship is off to a good start I tell you. "We look practically identical on account are faces are the same exact color!" she nodded at that And laughed "We do we do!" Then I asked her if she wanted to be besties and she said she would think about it so but she thought she was not quite ready to have a bestie yet. Now I had a Bestie The new girl was my Bestest friend practically. All three of us all walked to room one real happy, Only she had to go up and talk to Mr. Scary and then Mr. Scary assigned her a seat and introduced her to the class her seat was miles away from mine. It's not fair I tell you Mr. Scary Is not fair. Mr. Scary Made an announcement he said the Aquarium was today only that was not even a new announcement. I heard that particular one yesterday and I am not fond of it. He said that we would be going to there right before recess I cried out at that one cause that one was not fair I tell you "Yeah only thats the dumbest thing I ever heard you can't skip recess on account that recess is my favorite time of the day in school. Mr. Scary laughed only this was not a laughing moment I tell you so I don't know why he did. "Junie B. A field trip is like a longer recess. only with sharks and other amazing water creatures although most of them are fish." I did like the sound of that expect for the word sharks. On account that fish are not scary, only boring. But sharks however are Scary.
Chapter four (The SCARY aquarium)
So far I hav not favored the aquarium there are To many fish I I do not bother to listen to Mr. Scary explaining the different types cause who wants to know the different types! Fish are Fish and Fish are boring. Sharks however are not. they are very scary. I do not know which on of these two things I would prefer more. I Imagined The war Between boring and Evil. Evil won every time cause how can Boring win? Huh how can it? Then I Imagined the war between Baby Bunny's GOOD and SHARKS BAD I wish I had not imagined that happing unless.... Sharks were specks and The bunny had fins and big chopering teeth...."Junie B. are you listing to what I am saying? Junie B. we where just learning about the different types of sharks they have in this aquarium. where about to head over to that exhibit now okay?" I did not do an okay back. "Junie B. Do you want me to tell you mother about this?-" "Oh no you can't you can't on account that she says if I get one more letter for my teacher she will send me to the police and I am not looking forward to that particular happing! Oh Mr. Scary don't tell please!!! on account if you did you would be breaking the rules!" I hollered real loud. Mr. Scary chuckled and then looked grumpish at me "Junie B. I need you to listen okay?" I nodded real quick. He said good and then we went of to see the scary sharks.
Only when we got there I still was not paying attention so to bad for me Mr. Scary caught me yawing and taping and he came over to me very cross. "Hello How are you today? Very good thank you" I said real pleasant Mr. Scary did not Smile or Chuckle this time he told me that this was the last straw little girl and then I listened oh I did real good to what he said only it made me shiver and go trembley cause sharks are just plain out scary I tell you. Finally a shark came out to meet room one and it was tiny I looked it real funny but since me and Mr. Scary and I are not on the best of terms. I did not ask him why. I sorta liked this little shark I was not even scared of it hardly. Judy B. Jackson Raised her hand and Mr. Scary called on her "Mr. Scary I have a question, why is the shark so small?" I looked at that girl cause me and her have the same sort of brains too apparently. "Because Judy B. There are all different sizes of sharks that little shark there is actually a Dwarf Lantern shark there the smallest species of shark" Mr. Scary said real happy about his knowledge.
Turns out I don't mind the aquarium the fish are boring but some of the sharks are cute and tinsy and not scary hardly. Only just then I remembered "OH NO OH NO the sting rays that sting you into smoke oh no oh no !!" I cried out real scared Mr. Scary laughed at that one. "Actually the sting rays here can't sting but there exhibit is unfortunately closed today so we won't be going to see the sting rays this time." Phew I exhaled real happy cause that was a Close one I tell you.
Chapter 5 The party Preparing (boo hoo)
The aquarium was a hoot I tell you only when I got home mother said that we had to go birthday present shopping. I looked at her kinda happy
"Is it my birthday? huh mother is it cause I would love a birthday present or two!"
She groaned
"No Junie B. It's May's birthday remember? we are going tomorrow.
I groaned on account that just then I did remember. "Oh mother don't I don't want to go please please!" I said real sweetly
"You said that about the aquarium too, and you ended up having a blast. You will have a great time I promise!"
"Really? mother really cause I don't believe that will ever happen." Mother groaned But we still ended up going to the store to get her a present.
"How about this one?" Mother showed me a stuffed panda bear. "Or this one?" she showed me a brand new set of pencils. "How about neither?" I offered real polite. She did another Groan. She is very groanish today. "Junie B. just pick something." mother cried to me "I already told you what I want to get May" I said real very quarralish
"There is no way I am going to let you give one of your class mates a disinfectant spray."
"Why not mother its perfect! May needs to be disinfected!" Mother groaned Finally mother bought the pencils and we left the store she was real grouchy at me. "Junie B. Next time your dad, is going to go present shopping with you okay honey?" only she did not say it in a nice way she said It in a sarcastic way. A Mean way.
When we got home I ran up the stairs speedy quick to my room and told Phillip Johnny bob the news. he gasped when I told him the whole story we talked and talked but soon it got boring so I decided to pretend I was a birthday girl but soon that got boring too. This was going to be a boringish end of the day.
At dinner Mommy and Daddy talked about the party, and they asked me loads of questions about the aquarium. But those topics where boring I tell you. And interest was not on my Side that evening not at all.
Chapter 6 Awkward
I did not wake up early on Saturday like on Friday. Infact I slept in quite a bit. ON PURPOSE only its not fair that daddy woke me up and told me to get ready for the party! which apparently was at 1 o clock. Humph no excitement came to me that morning that whole morning was not a very excitement filled morning. I weared my boring old clothes cause why should I dress up. It felt way too speedy quick on account that before I hardly knew it daddy was driving me to May's house which I am almost positive looks like a dump.
It felt like only a few seconds but before I hardly knew it probably we where at May's house. and what do you know it was a regular sort of house. May's mother greeted me and I said goodbye to daddy who drove off I sat there very glum with the present in my hand. I handed to May's mother "This is for your pesky little girl" I whispered into her ear hole. She looked at me kinda grouchy so I moved on and started looking for familiar faces. Familiar faces means friends. AND guess what I saw Judy B.! so I ran over to her speedy quick and said hello. she said hello back. she was not the most talkative type. "Well how are you today are you exited for dumb May's party?" She looked at me oddly "I hardly no May but I came cause all of room one came" I nodded that made sorta sense hardly. We sat in 'kward silence for a good long while and then finally the party began.
Chapter 7 Dumb games.
May was dressed up in a fluffy dress similar to Lucille's only fake when Lucilles was real. May announced that she was the boss and that all of room one listen to her. "Hello room one! you guys better listen to me or else!" Room one cried back "OR WHAT MAY" She looked uncomfortable and squirmed a bit that means she did not no or what. May's mother saved her and told us that we would start the party with games. On account that We played all sort of games and Judy B. Jackson Won almost all of them. Boy that girl could play. wowie wow wow. I only won once. Then we did some crafts I drew some borings stuff. Judy B. however drew perfect drawings she was a pro I tell you. What could that girl not do. Turns out I found out. When Mrs. May (May's Mother) announced that they would be going into the other room to open presents. She could not bring a present. She whispered that secret to me real secret. I did not have a big fat clue of what to say but I had an Idea or two up my arm. "Why don't you go get some leaves and hand them to her?" Judy B. shook her head. "Why Don't you go get some grass and dirt and hand it to her?" Judy B. shook her head harder this time. "No Junie B. That would be mean!" "Serves May right!" "Maybe but May was not mean to me so I can't give her dirt but you can!" Judy B. said real pleased. I nodded. "I'll give you my gift to give to May And then I'll give her dirt!" I Smiled real happy cause I was a genius I tell you. Only there was a tinsy problem. "That's great where is your present to May, Junie B?" Judy B. Asked. I sighed real sad "I gave it to Mrs. May. "You mean May's Mom?" Judy B. asked again. I nodded. "I saw where she put the present pile lets go sneak over there and get it!" Judy B. said real pleased. I clapped my hands real quiet. we sneaked out of there without anyone seeing us! I saw the present Pile in the other room and I tiptoed over there and wow wow wowie THERE WAS MY PRESENT! so I picked it up speedy quick and then gave it to Judy B. She crossed out the words FROM JUNIE B. and put from JUDY B. she also crossed out all the dumb stupid and Telltale words too. I don't know why she did that particular thing. then we ran out side licked splits and I grabbed some dirt. Then we sneaked back into that room speedy quick and know one even knew we where gone.
Chapter Eight 8 (Presents)
All of room one was led into the other room. where the presents where and one by one may opened her presents. Jose made her a paper airplane. Herbert gave her a yoyo. Lennie gave her a pack of gel. And so on. Finally she was done opening presents. And her eyes where mad. she looked at everyone and then at Me and Judy B. She made her eyes into slits at us. "I"M MISSING TWO PRESENTS!" She hissed at us. Judy B. quickly walked up and gave May My old present. May did not say thank you she did not say thank you about any of the other presents either. And her parents did not even tell her too. Mine would go cuckoo if I did not say thank you. Finally it was my turn so I gave her my handful of dirt her face went all surprised then all grouchy and then she said all sarcastic. "Thank you Junie B. I really appreciate it" "Your Welcome" I said cause what do you know? I was the only one she said thank you to. Who knew May loved Dirt so much. And as Mother always says You learn something new every day.
Chapter 9 (Cake and BESTIES)
After presents we all ate cake. May kept giving me mean glances on the table. and only to bad for me cause I did not get any Cake on account that I was mean to Mrs. May's child. Humph its not fair on account that it was red velvet cake and that stuff is heavenly I tell you! It is also My favorite Kind of Cake and Cake is my Favorite kind of food.
After Cake we played one more game of hopscotch and then it was time to rap up. Mother had said I would have a great time and she had said she promised but I had an worstest time ever I tell you. Only Just then Judy B. Jackson. Ran up to me and tapped me on the shoulder and said "Hey Junie B. Remember when you asked me if I wanted to be besties huh remember?" I nodded "Well guess what? I think I am ready to have a bestie. and I think I want to you to be my best friend!" I smiled real happy "Of course you do!" We both smiled and linked arms. Then I quick asked her what her favorite color was and she replied "Purple" and Wowie wow wow cause purple was my favorite color too.
See I told Me and the New kid would be bestest friends I told you! Turns out mother was right again.
